Now where do you put your first talent point?
As i see it there is one of two ways.
Either Improved Wand or Spirit tap.

If your using Powerword:Shield alot(PW:S from now on). take spirit tap.
If you want 25% more wand damage go for that.
Doesnt really matter at this level because your spirit is bollocks anyway.

Try to get help to collect gear now.
Get someone to run you through the following places:

Wailing caverns.
Deadmines.
Shadowfang keep.
Blackfanthom depths.

why would I say this?
You need gear to work well in your early levels as a priest.
You can manage without, I sure did.
But good god does it help.

start healing instances. Yes I know your shadow.
If your having a hard time healing pick up Imp Renew.

YOU CAN HEAL FROM RFC TO BLOOD FURNACE AS SHADOW!

Heal everything you can, great XP. Enjoy Scarlet Monestary.

Well get some friends together again, get everything you want and rush on.

DO NOT REPLACE YOUR ROD OF THE SLEEPWALKER HERE!

Instead pick up the Hypnotic mindblade and the off hand from graveyard.
Put those in your lovely bag.

- Level 40 -

You will still be wanding my dear!
Get the dagger and off hand out of your bag. Use them.

Craft It, some people say the lack of stats is something that doesnt make it viable.
I used it and it increased my spell damage alot!

If you find you'd rather use robes of Doan. do so. Its great.
But craft boots and shoulders and the head and everything that replaces something thats "just all right".

shoulders, head, boots, hands lasted me til outland on my Warlock.
Now im Lazy and I couldnt be bothered to run 50-60 isntances I just leveled by quests.

A zul farak boost around this point is also quite good :)

Dont stress it tho.
